Prawn Wonton Dumplings
Plump and tender prawn dumplings symbolize longevity and wealth. As part of our Lunar New Years inspired spread, we’ve decided to make steamed dumplings and showcase our peeled king prawns. We’ve used wonton wrappers as a shortcut but they are just as delicious as making your own dough!

What you’ll need
- 260g Peeled King Prawns- Raw, finely chopped
- 1cm piece of ginger, minced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red chilli, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 15 wonton wrappers
Let's Cook!
Step 1
Combine prawns, garlic, ginger, chilli, oyster sauce and sesame oil into a food processor. Mix until minced.
Step 2
Place wonton wrappers on a flat surface. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the mince mixture onto the center of each wrapper. Brush the edges with cold water. Fold up the sides to form a round pouch. Pinch to enclose filling. Place on a tray lined with baking paper.
Step 3
Place a bamboo steamer lined with baking paper over simmering water. Cook dumplings, in batches, for 15 minutes or until tender and cooked through. Serve and enjoy
