200g Pack. Misshapes are nice pieces of fish that are left over when we make steaks. They’re boneless and skinless, often very irregular, but still very delicious! You could cook them up by themselves - just flash fry in butter - or mix a few packs up to make a fish stew or fish pie. A lovely white fish like this UK hake, would work well in your favorite fish taco recipe! For a main course we would recommend around 150g per person. Check out our customers experience below
How you've been using our hake misshapes...
- "We were supposed to be in New Zealand this year, so obviously that didn't happen. I researched what food and drink we might have had, and recreated dishes as best I could. Hoki isn't easily available, but it is a member of the hake family, so I ordered these to make this recipe. It was beautiful, the texture suited the recipe really well. There is a spare pack in the freezer ready to go again."

Sustainability - Our rating 8/10
Our hake is typically from Cornwall, and MSC certified sustainable fishery. The fish are caught using gill netting which is selective in its targeting. We only buy large mature hake.
