Smoked Prawns and Whole Smoked Trout Platter
This stunning seafood platter will certainly stand out on your dinner table. The glorious combination of zingy horseradish, earthy beetroot and mayo pairs perfectly with the smokey flavours that come from the trout and prawns.
What you’ll need
- 1 whole smoked trout
- Smoked prawns
- 4 cooked and peeled beetroot
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp horseradish
- Loaf of fresh brown bread
- Butter

Step 1
Chop the beetroot into chunks and blitz with the mayonnaise, horseradish and a good pinch of salt and pepper with a stick blender until completely smooth and vivid pink.
Step 2
Place the fish on a pretty platter and serve with the mayonnaise and wedges of brown bread and butter.
