Salmon Poke Bowl
Here's our quick and easy guide to making a salmon poke bowl! This vibrant dish combines sashimi-grade salmon with fresh, crisp vegetables and a base of perfectly seasoned rice. Marinated in a blend of soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha, the salmon is then topped with avocado, cucumber, radish, and edamame. A final sprinkle of sesame seeds adds the perfect finishing touch, making this nutritious bowl a delicious, flavour-packed meal you can whip up at home in no time.
What you’ll need
- 240g Salmon Sashimi
- 1 Avocado
- 4 Spring Onion
- Salt
- Sugar
- Sesame Seeds
- Black Sesame Seeds
- 1 Cucumber
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Sushi Ginger
- Sushi Rice
- 4 sheets of Nori Seaweed
Let's Cook!
Step 1
Strain the sushi rice in some water using a sieve and then boil for 10 min. Pour the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt over the rice while still hot then mix gently and leave to cool.
Step 2
Cut the sashimi salmon into little cubes then season with the soya sauce and lemon juice.

Chop the rest of the ingredients

Assemble all the components in a bowl starting with the rice at the bottom and arranging al the other ingredients on top.
