Brown shrimp Farfalle pasta
An easy and super tasty pasta classic, the lovely farfalle bows mixed with brown shrimp in a creamy sauce, to make a very exciting pasta evening.

- 300g brown shrimp - peeled
- 500g farfalle pasta
- 100ml single cream
- 1 shallot
- bunch of parsley/dill or any soft herb finely chopped
- 100g peas
Let's Cook!
Step 1
Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta according to packet instructions
Step 2
Whilst the pasta cooks, finely dice a shallot and sweat in a non stick pan until softened and translucent
Step 3
Add the shrimp and cook for a minute until hot through, add the cream and bring to a simmer
Step 4
For the last minute of the pasta cooking add the frozen peas and when both are cooked using a large slotted spoon add to the shrimp and cream not worrying if some of the pasta water goes across too…toss the pasta and peas until well coated in the sauce, finish with the herbs, season well and serve immediately
