Salmon Sushi Recipe
Ingredients:
- 200g Sashimi Grade Organic Salmon Belly Strip Sake
- 1 cup sushi rice
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- Nori seaweed sheets
- Wasabi paste
- Soy sauce
- Pickled ginger
Instructions:
- Rinse the sushi rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Add the rice and water to a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 18 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Heat in the microwave for 20-30 seconds to warm.
- Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a large bowl and add the vinegar mixture. Use a spatula to mix well and let it cool.
- Cut the Sashimi Grade Organic Salmon Belly Strip Sake into thin slices.
- Lay a sheet of nori seaweed on a sushi rolling mat. Spoon a thin layer of rice onto the seaweed and press down evenly.
- Add a small amount of wasabi paste onto the rice and lay a few salmon slices on top.
- Roll the sushi tightly, using the mat to shape it. Slice the sushi into even pieces.
- Serve with soy sauce and pickled ginger.
