Langoustine, also known as Norway lobster or Dublin Bay prawn, is a small lobster (hence the claws). You will most commonly come across it as scampi (which is just the meaty, peeled tail) but we offer whole langoustines too - these make a very eye-catching item when served grilled or boiled. Our battered and breaded scampi are superb examples of these recipes, but if you want naked scampi, go for our peeled version which comes from only the very largest fish and is one of our signature lines. Local fishmongers are great, but where are they? Supermarkets have fish, it doesn’t make the cut! The best fish? We’ve got you.
